of Analytical Psychology and C G Jung Clinic: To learn about the Training in Adult Analysis at the Society of Analytical Psychology The SAP training in Adult Analysis started in 1946 and was the first professional Jungian training in the world. The Society continues to thrive and now has more than 200 members and trainees. The SAP offers a four-year intensive clinical training. It is a founder member of the British Psychoanalytic Council and upholds an equal opportunities policy. Some people approach their interest in the training through the annual course - Foundations of Analytical Psychology – that runs on a Wednesday evening over two terms each year. This gives participants the opportunity to learn about key Jungian concepts and to meet a range of SAP trained analysts who teach on the course. Another approach to the training is through Infant Observation Seminars which are also available. We would like to invite you to our first Open Afternoon to learn about the approach to training in the SAP as well as some of the activities offered by the Society. You will have the opportunity to meet informally the Director of Training, the Chair of Training Committee and other members involved with the Training and the Foundation Course. We welcome people from any profession who are exploring training opportunities, including psychiatrists, psychologists, GPs, psychotherapists, counsellors, art and music therapists, psychiatric nurses etc. R.S.V.P.
