'And for all this nature is never spent;
There lives the dearest freshness deep down things;'(Gerald Manley Hopkins)

We invite you to this Ecopsychology conference to join us in trying to listen afresh to the catastrophic ecological changes. In counselling and psychotherapy we listen and give focused regard openly and imaginatively, not presupposing that we understand; let us meet to use our abilities to consider the threats and dangers of the many catastrophes that surround us and see if we can together make headway in thinking creatively and contribute to a 'Sea-change' in actions and attitudes.

Mary-Jayne Rust is a Jungian Analyst (SAP) and art therapist. She has worked in a variety of settings including a men's prison, the Women's Therapy Centre and now private practice. Her interest in eating problems, and the psyche/soma interface has fed a wider interest in consumerism and our troubled relationship with the earth. She has been involved with the ECOPSYCHOLOGY movement for the past decade, lecturing, running workshops and writing.
